Anti-Bullying Awareness Month

As ever, we take bullying very seriously. This week pupils have been shown a new way of reporting any issues (via the school website), as well as reminding them of other methods such as using the worry monster, ticking the box in their planners or simply telling a teacher! This led on to a discussion about what bullying is and the effect it can have on everyone involved. In response to this, primary pupils have created art work.

Their aim was to be:

  • Thought provoking
  • Effective use of colour (e.g. pencil/black for sadness, red for anger, bright colours for a positive message)
  • Mixed medium
