Regional Principal Visit

Our Regional Principal Tamra Bradbury visited the school this week, she was very impressed with students behaviour, conduct and work ethic in lessons.  She met with a cross section of students and asked for their views, all of which were very positive, including wanting more homework in certain subjects.

Primary School

The students from the Primary school visited the secondary this week as part of a science lesson, looking at rocks for evidence of wear.

The Primary school will be having a parents evening on Monday 26th September.  The date has been bought forward as Mrs Davies will be absent from school for a few weeks.  Rest assured that lessons will continue as normal and that a qualified teacher will teach the lessons.

Secondary School

Students are involved in school council elections this week, results will be announced next week, so watch this space.

School Uniform

Please be advised that students can wear winter uniform from next week onwards.  All students will need to be in winter uniform by the 3rd October, this applies to both Primary and Secondary.  If there are any problems ensuring students have the correct uniform please can you let the school know.

A plea from the Primary school, if parents have any spare PE kit which is no longer required please can it be donated to the school as sometimes students have forgotten items at home which results in them missing the lesson.

Dates for your diary

Inset Day – 17th October, this is for both Primary and Secondary.
